Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 20, 2026
This policy explains how PULSE (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our websites, marketing pages, and training products. It is written for athletes, coaches, and gym operators—not only for lawyers.
Who we are
PULSE provides training software and related services. Depending on your region, the data controller responsible for personal data may be the PULSE entity that contracts with you or provides the service.
For privacy questions that are not security incidents, you can contact us through the channels listed on our Contact page. For security-sensitive reports, use the dedicated security inbox described on our Security page.
Information we collect
We collect information in three broad ways: information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use our services, and information we receive from partners when you connect integrations.
- Account and profile details such as name, email address, time zone, and role (athlete, coach, or administrator).
- Training and product usage data such as programs selected, session logs, messages you send in-app, and files you upload (for example form-check videos).
- Technical data such as device type, browser version, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic logs needed to keep the service reliable.
- Payment and billing information processed by our payment partners—we generally do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
- Communications you send us through forms, email, or support channels, including metadata needed to route and respond to your request.
Legal bases (where GDPR applies)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as: performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for); legitimate interests (for example improving product reliability, securing our systems, and understanding aggregate usage of marketing pages); consent where required (for example certain optional analytics or marketing communications); and compliance with legal obligations.
When we rely on legitimate interests, we weigh our interests against your rights and offer controls where appropriate, such as marketing preferences and cookie choices on our marketing site.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide, maintain, and improve PULSE; to personalize your experience where settings allow; to communicate with you about the product, security, and policy changes; to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and to comply with law.
We may use aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you for analytics, research, and public reporting about training trends.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the service, and as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Backup systems may retain data for a limited period after deletion. When retention periods expire, we delete or de-identify information where feasible.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can exercise many choices directly in product settings. For other requests, contact us through the Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling sensitive requests.
International transfers
PULSE may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses approved by regulators, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Children
PULSE is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required for online services in their jurisdiction. If you believe we have collected information from a child inappropriately, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law (for example by email or in-product message).
